I want a boyfriend...?

Okay so I am 16 and I've been single for about 3 years and I've been perfectly happy with it because I don't feel like I need one, but I want one. I'm kinda on the heavier side so guys don't exactly flirt it up with me, but I'm a fun person and I love to have a good time. So it's been awhile since I've had a boyfriend and I just wnat someone who is like not all over me all the time and wants to have a good time with me. Like a best friend who I love. Any ideas on how to approach this?? I'm starting school in a few days and I want advice on how to approach guys and show them that I'm worth getting to know! Thanks! :)
