My ipod video 30gig just failed. should i get a new ipod or spend a little extra for the iphone?

I currently have a blackjack 2 with at&t but ive been kinda wanting an iphone. I found an ipod just like mine for 100 on craigslist and an iphone costs around 500. what should i do?
