Will I have to uninstall Sims 2 to keep Sims 3?

no, i had sims 2 (with 2 expansion packs and 2 stuff packs) installed on my win xp computer which had less hard drive space, a slower processor, and graphics card that isnt as good as yours, (not sure how much ram it had) and i installed sims 3 and it ran fine.
